This was my second year volunteering as a bike lead for the event. It is so much fun. Look at those lovely matching pink vests!
Austin Yellow Bike Project Fundraiser 2023
We kicked off the year by doing a century (100 miles) on the Veloway to raise money for Yellow Bike Project in Austin. Dozens of people came out, we raised over $1,200 and collected a bike and parts to donate to the organization. It was so much fun and also so tough, but we were so grateful for nice weather. This was a project launched by me and supported by the Violet Crown Cycling Club in Austin.
